Tropical Solutions, Incorporated was established on January 2, 2003 as a cosmetics manufacturing company in the state of North Carolina. We are located in Kure Beach, a small beach town of about 1,500 full time residents, which is located on a narrow peninsula between the Cape Fear River and the Atlantic Ocean.


We take great pride in the fact that we were the first company to introduce a gradual sunless tanning lotion. We introduced TanSome Premium Sunless Tanning Lotion on January 2, 2003, a full three (3) years before our first copy (Jergens Natural Glow). Jergens introduced their product in 2006, and all subsequent gradual sunless tanning lotions have been introduced since then.


TanSome Premium Sunless Tanning Lotion also takes great pride because we use natural antioxidants, tropical oils and butters, fruit derivatives, and vitamins as our ingredients.


We use no industrial chemicals. We do not use mineral oil, petroleums, parabens, polyethylene, etc. (compare us to Bain Soleil, Coppertone, Eucerin, Hawaiian Tropic, Jergens, Neutrogena, Xen-Tan, etc). They use these industrial ingredients to lower their cost; we don't. Visit: TanSome Ingredients


TanSome Premium Sunless Tanning Lotion was formulated after two years of research and trials. The final formulation was completed in July 2002. Accelerated aging testing was performed to ensure TanSome Sunless Tanning Lotion had a minimum shelf life of three (3) years. We have conclusively determined that TanSome Premium Sunless Tanning Lotion has a shelf life that exceeds five (5) years from date of mixing. This was determined by aging our lotion at 80° F over a period of 60 months, and sampling every month.


Although TanSome Premium Sunless Tanning Lotion is our sole product at the moment, we have two additional products in our pipeline that will complement TanSome Sunless Tanning Lotion in the cosmetics market. Their expected launch date is mid–2011.


We are currently setting up a distribution network to place our product into stores. We have successfully placed our product in a local Walgreens, where it has shown great interest and sales success. We expect to place more product in their 4,700 stores in the coming months, as well as other appropriate retail outlets.
